Derek and his team at HHX Handfeld Home Xperts completely transformed my primary bathroom, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! What started as an old, outdated space that I had no idea how to update turned into the bathroom of my dreams—all thanks to Derek’s vision and expertise.
From the start, Derek made the process easy. He proposed thoughtful new floor plans and even drew them out so I could visualize the changes. We went back and forth making tweaks, and he provided great input until we landed on the perfect layout.
Once we had a plan, the rest of the project was a breeze. Derek told me exactly what I needed to pick out, made style and material suggestions that looked amazing together, and even pointed me to the best places to shop—always keeping my budget in mind. I felt completely supported through every step.
His entire team was professional, efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Near the end of the project, I decided (a little last minute) that I wanted shelves added in the shower. I was worried it was too late to ask, but Derek made it happen without missing a beat—and made sure everything looked perfect.
Now I have a bathroom that feels fancy, luxurious, and totally “me.” I’m in love with it and so grateful to HHX for making it happen. I will absolutely be using Derek and his team for every future home project. They’re THAT good.

We have an amazing new shower created by Derek Donenfeld of Handfeld Management! His team was able to take a plain half bath and turn it into a beautiful handicap walk in shower. Derek and his team worked together like a well oiled machine! And I can’t say enough great things about each member of his team. They were all professional, honest, neat and friendly.

Derek and his men just completed a shower floor for us. Our slate tiles were crumbling and it was beyond frustrating. We reached out to Handfeld and were given a fantastic price on exceptional work. From the tile and grout recommendations to the near-daily communication to the final execution, Derek made the process simple for our family. His men were on time every day. They were smiling and tidy and hard-working. They were SO patient with our crazy, nosy pets. And afterwards, they cleaned that bathroom better than I do, lol. We are just thrilled with the final result and would wholeheartedly recommend their services to our friends and family. In fact, my mom plans to contact them early next week for a project of her own. You will not be disappointed by this company.
